screening room by Ana Bob
This screening room is based around experimental filmmaker Ana Bob and her inspirations. Her six films are accompanied by avant-garde filmmakers such as Maya Deren (USA, fluxus) and Jean Cocteau (FR), the surreal feminist video art of Pipilotti Rist, the structuralist film of avant-garde artist Paul Shartis and a data-moshing piece from artist Takeshi Murata. All of these stand as strong inspirations for Ana, and shape the way cinematic language is to be understood in her experimental films. Ana’s works can be found at www.anabob.org and on instagram @ana.gram.log
