The Focus Symphony – World-Class Orchestra Premiere | Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra
Under the direction of Alexandra Arrieche, the 72-piece orchestra performs a monumental new symphonic work based on the music of legendary Dutch progressive rock band Focus, featuring compositions by Thijs van Leer and Jan Akkerman. The evening opens with orchestral symphonic interpretations of music by The Beatles and The Beach Boys, previously recorded and performed by the orchestra. The concert is presented by Dominic Seldis and includes an intermission. This special performance is entirely dedicated to charity. All proceeds of the evening support the Prinses Máxima Center in Utrecht, the leading Dutch hospital for children with cancer.

Suriname in Concert - Op 25 november 1975 (meer dan 50 jaar geleden) werd Suriname na ruim drie eeuwen onafhankelijk van Nederland. Dat werd gevierd in Het Concertgebouw met een schitterend concert.
Surinaamse klassiekers worden vertolkt door een schitterend ensemble van iconen. Black Harmony, Bryan B., Manoushka Zeegelaar Breeveld, Ronald Snijders, Oscar Harris en nog vele anderen zijn te gast. De presentatie is in handen van Gerda Havertong en Rayen Panday.
From New West with Love: In de Grote Zaal van Het Concertgebouw brengen meer dan twintig artiesten uit Amsterdam Nieuw- West een wervelende show vol muziek, dans en 'spoken word'.
Na twee succesvolle edities met artiesten uit Amsterdam Zuidoost was het op 13 november 2025 de beurt aan het bruisende Nieuw-West in From New West with Love. In de Grote Zaal van Het Concertgebouw brengen meer dan twintig artiesten een wervelende show vol muziek, dans en 'spoken word'. Verwacht een kleurrijke mix van genres die Nieuw-West rijk is: van klassiek en jazz tot levenslied, pop, hiphop, Turkse, Surinaamse, Marokkaanse en Arabische stijlen.Op het podium schitteren grote namen, zoals de internationaal gevierde zangeres Karsu, de legendarische Willeke Alberti, rapper Dio en zanger/ud-speler Ahmed Elmaai. Ook columnist Henk Spaan levert een bijdrage met een speciaal voor deze avond geschreven tekst. De muzikale begeleiding is in handen van het Oorkaan Ensemble en het Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest. De presentatie wordt verzorgd door comedian Howard Komproe en thaibokser en jongerenwerker Soumia Abalhaya.
